Glenella Chart

Glenella depicts the beautiful guesthouse in Blackheath NSW Australia. Blackheath is part of the Blue Mountains west of Sydney.
The chart is stitched using full crosses and straight stitches.
Two versions of the verse are included, both by the renowned Australian poet Henry Lawson about this area. One uses over one stitches suitable for the more advanced stitcher on linen or even weave. The other shorter verse is simpler for aida.
The design is charted using Cottage Garden threads and DMC. A DMC only conversion is provided, however these threads have no variegation.
The model is stitched 2 over 2 on 32 count "Eucalyptus Leaves" linen by Paddock Lane Designs.
